My name is Maggie Moore and I am a senior at Loyola University Chicago. I study public relations and visual communications.
I have over a year of experience in public relations and content creation and have interned at Long Distance Productions, The Cleveland Museum of Art, the theater department at Margie Korshak Inc. and the Cleveland Pops Orchestra. Some of my daily tasks included drafting Instagram content or press releases, media monitoring, assisting at press events and creating media lists.
Art (whether it be graphic design, film, animation, music, or basically anything) is what I love. Some current creatives whose work I admire are Barry Jenkins, Anna Ginsburg, Kailee McKenzie, Avery Ginsburg, and Adam Hale. Last summer at the Cleveland Museum of Art was particularly inspiring because I was able to help with the marketing activities for the Yayoi Kusama Infinity Mirrors exhibition, who is another one of my favorites. (The picture to the right was taken in the exhibition p.s. my hair is pink now).
The reason I chose my Visual Communications minor is I like to create art myself. I am proficient in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. You can check out my portfolio here.
